It’s been awhile since I posted, I took the month of January off and it was a much needed break. I have some exciting news but I’ll wait a bit longer to share that on the blog. In the meantime, I thought I’d share a few images from a recent session with a darling baby girl named Emerson, 6 days old.
This little sweetheart was full of smiles, I like to think it’s cause she was enjoying herself!
…and one of her awake. She didn’t open her eyes much, still so young that she liked to keep them closed, but I thought this one was really sweet.

Happy New Year! I hope all my clients and blog readers had a wonderful Christmas. I have some exciting things planned for 2010 so I hope you’ll stay tuned in to the blog. I thought I’d add some images from my last newborn session of 2009. This little guy was so adorable.
I love that we got some calm awake ones, so precious! This one is definitely my favorite…
and of course you know I love the sleepy ones too…
With big brother… it’s not often easy to get a good sibling image at a newborn session when the siblings are close in age but I think we were successful!
And one more that I really liked…

Last time I photographed this family, there was only two kids; and the little brother was just a baby! Now he is a big busy 2 year old and he has a beautiful baby sister!
It wasn’t the easiest thing to get a portrait of the 3 children together but I think we did pretty good! Mission accomplished!
Here is a sneak peek of a few individual shots… they are all so cute!
and lastly, a very timely image considering the weather we’ve been having… hope you all are staying warm out there! Brrrrrr!

Photographing Daxen at 8 weeks old made me remember how much I absolutely love that age! When they are cooing, and smiling and just starting to be sociable! I miss that age!
It has taken me longer than usual to get this sneak peek online because like so many others out there, I’ve not been feeling well (darn this cold and flu season!). I am mustering up the little energy I have to get these on to the blog because I know how eager Daxen’s parents are to see them!
Typically I prefer naked sleeping images but I have to admit, this outfit is pretty darn cute on him!
And of course, my favorite, a sleep smile!
