Here is a sneak peek from my recent session with one year old baby Wyatt. I had a lot of fun working with this happy little guy! I love photographing one year olds-they are so fun and so expressive… maybe I am just biased since I have one of my own at home right now!
I love how he is waving in this first one, adorable!
It was fun to incorporate Wyatt’s daddy’s cowboy boots and hat into our session. I absolutely LOVE that he is giving me the thumbs up in this next one (and yes I know it was probably just a coincidence!).
I love taking pictures of little boys in coveralls. So cute.

I was looking forward to photographing baby Kori long before she was born. She is the daughter of one of my very good friends, so I was so so so excited to meet her and take her pictures. Here is a sneak peek from her session, enjoy!
I am so in love with this first one, adorable! Would be so cute on a birth announcement.
You might wonder why I would pose the baby like she is in the next photo, so I will just tell you right now, I didn’t! She really liked to be held like that, she’s got long limbs (lucky girl!) and liked to have them sticking straight out!

My very favorite background to shoot against is backlit trees in the fall. I love the glow that the light creates behind the trees, it just makes the colors pop even more than they did before… fall is my favorite! Here is a sneak peek of a recent family session.
The last time I photographed this adorable family, there was only 4 of them. Now as you can see there is 5, and so we wanted to recreate the family hand shot we did last time to include baby brother.

Here are a few from a summer mini session I had with the adorable miss Cara… just turned 1 year old shortly before we did these pictures. I had so much fun working with her mom to pick which “outfits” and accessories we should use… the only hard part was limiting the shots, she was too cute I didn’t want to stop!

Arrdyn is the daughter of one of my close friends so I was thrilled to photograph her… however she wasn’t so thrilled to be photographed, this was a very long session but in the end we got some great images. I think she just wanted her mom and I to have some extra long chat time while calling it “work”. Thanks Arrdyn! Chat time is always good 
and I know I will get many more chances to photograph you as you grow!
Arrdyn is lucky to have a big sister and brother who love her so much!

In case you haven’t noticed, I love girly things! Ruffles, flower headbands, tutus, pearls… I am a sucker for it all and my studio is full of these things. Maybe it is a good thing God gave me boys because I would probably go broke outfitting my child if I had a girl. ANYWAYS… it is even more fun when a mom comes to a session with her own collection of adorable things, then we get to mix and match and play dress up!
Here is a sneak peek of the adorable miss Berkley, who was such a little doll and let us dress her up in many different outfits and take so many beautiful pictures.
We incorporated this cherry blossom wreath to match Berkley’s bedroom theme. Wouldn’t this be absolutely adorable printed large and hung in her room?
That last one just cracks me up, love that toothy grin!
Berkley is a farm girl so of course we had to throw in some pink John Deere boots!
and last but not least, I have to show this one cause I think it is just too darn cute. I promise she only cried for a few seconds… but it was too cute not to share.
