super fun family - Lethbridge family photographers

The best compliment I can receive as a photographer is to have my clients come back to me again and again; and I am happy to say that was the case with this family. I first photographed them when their daughter Grace was a sweet little baby, and now she is a beautiful little girl. Time sure goes by fast!

It was so hard for me to narrow down which pictures I wanted to include in this sneak peek, I have so many favorites… but it wouldn`t be a sneak peek if I shared every single proof on here now would it?

Ok I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek… I am sure I will be back to share more from this session. But hopefully not on this blog! I am almost finished my new blogSITE so stay tuned for that announcement, I am excited to share it when it is finally ready.

kaylee and logan - Lethbridge child photographer

Kaylee’s mom first brought her to my studio when she was just a teensy little baby, and that was 6 years ago already! I can’t believe how fast time has gone. A lot of the babies on my website are turning 6 this year and it just seems entirely crazy to me that so much time has passed.

I also got to work with Kaylee when she was a full of energy toddler, but this was my first time photographing Logan. He was a little bit of a tough nut to crack at first, being 2 and loving the word, “no!” but he also loves the word, “vroom vroom” as in, Lightning Mcqueen. So I pulled out one of the many CARS we have around here and after that Logan was a doll. Just had to let the “vroom vroom” take some of the pictures!

This first one is my favorite, I love when I get a great sibling shot, it makes me so happy to see the connections and the love. I love how they are holding hands.

I love when we can include mom in the photos. As a mom I fully understand the reasons women have for putting off being in their family pictures, but I think it is so important! Your kids will love to look back years from now and see how pretty and how young you were! They will not be thinking anything negative, they’ll just be happy to have photos of you, and especially photos that show how much you loved your little ones… and remember mother’s day is coming up! A photo session with your kidlets would be a great gift to get this year, don’t you think?

one year old Wyatt - Lethbridge photographers

Here is a sneak peek from my recent session with one year old baby Wyatt. I had a lot of fun working with this happy little guy! I love photographing one year olds-they are so fun and so expressive… maybe I am just biased since I have one of my own at home right now!

I love how he is waving in this first one, adorable!

It was fun to incorporate Wyatt’s daddy’s cowboy boots and hat into our session. I absolutely LOVE that he is giving me the thumbs up in this next one (and yes I know it was probably just a coincidence!).

I love taking pictures of little boys in coveralls. So cute.

Okay I will stop there, there were so many cute pictures it was hard to choose which ones to feature. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek!

baby Kori - Lethbridge newborn photographer

I was looking forward to photographing baby Kori long before she was born. She is the daughter of one of my very good friends, so I was so so so excited to meet her and take her pictures. Here is a sneak peek from her session, enjoy!

I am so in love with this first one, adorable! Would be so cute on a birth announcement.

You might wonder why I would pose the baby like she is in the next photo, so I will just tell you right now, I didn’t! She really liked to be held like that, she’s got long limbs (lucky girl!) and liked to have them sticking straight out!

My very favorite background to shoot against is backlit trees in the fall. I love the glow that the light creates behind the trees, it just makes the colors pop even more than they did before… fall is my favorite! Here is a sneak peek of a recent family session.

The last time I photographed this adorable family, there was only 4 of them. Now as you can see there is 5, and so we wanted to recreate the family hand shot we did last time to include baby brother.

Cara - Lethbridge baby pictures

Here are a few from a summer mini session I had with the adorable miss Cara… just turned 1 year old shortly before we did these pictures. I had so much fun working with her mom to pick which “outfits” and accessories we should use… the only hard part was limiting the shots, she was too cute I didn’t want to stop!

Arrdyn is the daughter of one of my close friends so I was thrilled to photograph her… however she wasn’t so thrilled to be photographed, this was a very long session but in the end we got some great images. I think she just wanted her mom and I to have some extra long chat time while calling it “work”. Thanks Arrdyn! Chat time is always good and I know I will get many more chances to photograph you as you grow!

Arrdyn is lucky to have a big sister and brother who love her so much!
